Things to Do

Wings Over Washington- Seattle's Flying Theater

Mariama Space Base Retail Team

I highly recommend Wings Over Washington! As someone who's taken relatives and friends there four times, I can vouch that it's an amazing and super cool flying theater ride that perfectly captures the beauty of the state, making it an ideal activity for visitors looking to explore Washington's landscapes without breaking a sweat. It's especially great in the summer because the simulated flight provides a refreshing escape from the heat, offering stunning aerial views of Washington's natural wonders. And the best part? You'll feel a cool water spray as you "fly" over waterfalls, which is refreshing! it's the perfect way to beat the heat without needing a popsicle!

Citizen Collective

Pam Lead Server at Sunset Bar

The Citizen Collective is a great neighborhood cafe with fun outdoor seating as well as a cozy cafe. Kids are welcome before 4:00pm.  So family friendly in the morning and afternoon. Great spot for adults in the evening.

Fat's Chicken and Waffles

Makeda Tip Top Piestream Barista

This is hands down THE best brunch and Southern food spot in Seattle. Fat's is located in the heart of Central District, a historically black neighborhood that's endured so much. It goes without saying that the chicken and waffles are incredible, but the shrimp and grits changed my life. If you want great food and good vibes, this is the place to go.

Due' Cucina Italian Restaurant

Greg Lead GlassKeeper

Before my career with the Space Needle I was a chef who was lucky enough to live and work in Italy as a pasta maker so I am a bit particular about my pasta.  Due' Cucina is the only place in Seattle I trust to make pasta for me.  They make the pasta by hand in view of the dining room and I wouldn't be surprised if someones Nonna was in the back keeping track of everything. Especially in summer I enjoy their burrata, a mozzarella stuffed with mozzarella curds and cream. Buon cibo!
