Making a difference in the lives of our people, customers, and communities by establishing a foundation of trust is at the heart of our business philosophy. Our mission is to work alongside our clients and project stakeholders as collaborative partners committed to helping bring their vision to fruition. Turner's Seattle business unit is a leading builder in the Puget Sound region. Key market segments include life science, aviation, technology, commercial, mass timber, green building, education, public, residential, healthcare, and hospitality markets. Turner Seattle also has a Special Projects Division (SPD) that focuses on various project types, including interior improvements, renovations, building expansions, and infrastructure/system upgrade projects, with clients spread across all markets. Seattle has become a hub for relentless innovation and driving entrepreneurial spirit; Turner Seattle’s team is contributing directly to this, having been a market leader in the use of BIM services for over 17 years. Our VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) department is comprised of a team that routinely utilizes 3D models for estimating, project planning/logistics, BIM coordination, concrete coordination, digital fabrication, and animation.
Our self-perform operations are also noteworthy, completing significant projects each year. We employ over 300 skilled personnel in the building trades and are signatories to laborers, carpenters, operating engineers, and cement finishers. This skilled group has worked on projects that contain varied elements of concrete construction from traditional cast-in-place concrete, shotcrete, and one-sided walls, to specialty formwork and large tanks. Our self-perform team also consists of skilled carpenters who complete a wide array of carpentry work on our projects.
