Taste, toast, and dance the night away with The Dusty 45s while enjoying stunning views on The Loupe, the world’s first and only revolving glass floor. Lean out over the city lights with tilting glass walls 520 feet above ground and ring in the new year as one of the most iconic firework shows in the world explodes around you!

New Year's Eve Light Show

Following the success of last year’s inaugural light show, two different 10-minute musically choreographed light shows will run this year lighting up the tower and the Seattle skyline twice each night. The dazzling lighting effects will also be incorporated into the sensational 10-minute fireworks display giving viewers the most dramatically enhanced T-Mobile New Year’s at the Needle experience to-date. Tune in to the show’s soundtracks which will be simulcast on KISS 106.1 FM.

The Seattle Monorail will be open until 1AM
(Due to regulations, the Monorail will carry its last passengers from Westlake Center to Seattle Center at approximately 10:45 PM, resuming service around 12:20AM)

King County Metro will help riders safely usher in 2020 with free bus rides from 7PM on New Year’s Eve through 4AM on New Year’s Day. Free rides on Metro service are sponsored in part by Seattle Center, which draws thousands of people for New Year’s Eve festivities. In addition to Metro buses, rides are also free on Via to Transit Southeast Seattle, DART, Seattle Streetcar, Community Van, Community Ride, and Access paratransit.
