SPACE NEEDLE HOURS: THE VIEW ALMOST NEVER SLEEPS
Whether you want to view natural sights or Instagram city lights at night, the Space Needle is almost always open.

SkyCity at the Needle will be closed Tuesday, January 20th until Friday, January 23rd where we will re-open for Dinner service and Brunch and Dinner service over the 24th and 25th. SkyCity will close again Monday, January 26th until Friday, January 30th where we will re-open for Dinner service and return to normal operating hours and service the following day.
PARKING AT THE NEEDLE
Located at the base of the Seattle icon, the Space Needle’s valet parking service is a time saver and convenience. Plus, the cost of valet is the same or just a few dollars more than many of the area parking lots, which are located blocks away.
All rates valid for 3 hours:

Taxes are included. Prices are subject to change. We do not accept the following for valet service: vehicles over 6’11” tall, double-axel vehicles, vans with extended tops or customized vans, vehicles with trailers, motor homes and RV’s, commercial vehicles and box trucks, motorcycles, vehicles with animals (Washington State ordinance), vehicles with firearms, explosives, or hazardous substances, vehicles that have any operational defects which limit the ability to properly maneuver and increase Space Needle LLC liability based on physical condition

Directions from downtown Seattle:
- Find your way to Alaskan Way by heading toward the Elliott Bay waterfront
- Head northwest on Alaskan Way
- Alaskan Way turns right and becomes Broad Street
- Follow Broad Street 0.2 miles to the intersection of 4th Avenue North and Broad Street
- Turn left
Directons from I-5 (Northbound & Southbound)
- From I-5 take exit number 167 towards MERCER ST/SEATTLE CENTER
- Continue straight on Mercer St
- Turn left on to 5th Ave N
- Turn right at Broad Street
- Continue on Broad Street for .5 miles then turn right at the Space Needle valet
Observation Deck Closures
The Space Needle is open 365 days a year. However, we occasionally have to fully or partially close for special events, holidays and/or facility upgrades.

For the safety of all guests, weapons will not be permitted in the Space Needle. The only exception to this is law enforcement personnel in the performance of their official duties. The presenter of a ticket consents to a reasonable search for weapons before entering. If you cannot comply with these conditions, then we will not allow you access to our facility.
